Kaitlyn Brockley is a BA Photography student at Manchester Metropolitan Univeristy, using a variety of mediums to explore her personal brand of “visual storytelling”. Her work began exploring ideas of feminism and has evolved into an introspective exploration of her mind, emotions and identity; refiguring thoughts and feelings from as far back as her childhood to her immediate imaginings.
In addition to her conceptual work, she carries forward her cinematic style into her love for music. She has photographed artists such as Marika Hackman, Goat Girl and Geordie Greep, and photographed at venues across Manchester including Albert Hall and Manchester Psych Fest. An active member of the Manchester independent music scene, she contributes to aAh! magazine and collaborates with upcoming bands such as Squelch! and Humongous Fungus.
